Artist Statement-

I paint in watercolors, in a highly realistic, yet moody and intense style. My subject matter is mostly floral, still life, portraits, but I'll paint whatever catches my eye. My goal is to recreate the image faithfully and beautifully, but using colors and highlights that present the object in a new way.

 a thing of beauty

         is a joy forever.....

Bio -

I have been is self-employed as an artist, illustrator, and designer for many years, and my artwork has covered everything from wall murals to coffee mugs.

My passion is for watercolor painting: mostly portraits, still life, and floral. My paintings have been exhibited nationally in juried competitions and in galleries.

I graduated from UC Davis, and attended graduate courses at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, but I learned to paint in watercolors from books and practice, practice, practice. My husband and I currently live in rural upstate New York.
